 Con molto piacere comunichiamo che Salvatore Calì ha vinto il Premio delle Gallerie a Photissima 2014.

La motivazione della premiazione è stata:

" Il Premio 2014 Photissima Art Fair & Festival per la Categoria Gallerie a Salvatore Calì di ArteGiro Gallery che, traendo ispirazione dalle pratiche sciamaniche del centro America, riesce a rappresentare i 'curanderi' capaci di mutare forma mimetizzandosi con l'ambiente circostante."

 Il tema del Photissima Festival quest'anno era Time Out : "È tempo di tracciare il confine tra ciò che è fotografia artistica e ciò che non lo è. Mettere uno spartiacque o dimostrare che non ve ne sono. L’annoso e mai chiuso dibattito viene di nuovo colto da Photissima con lo scopo di stimolare il dialogo tra realtà diverse, attraversando i molteplici aspetti dell’arte fotografica. "

We are delighted to announce that artist Salvatore Calì has been awarded the 2014 Photissima Galleries Prize @ Photissima in Turin.

The motivation for the award :

" The 2014 Photissima Award for the Galleries has been awarded to Salvatore Calì of ArteGiro Gallery who, drawing inspiration from South American shamanic practices succeeds in representing the "curanderi", capable of changing their guises mimetizing with the surrounding environments."

This year's Photissima Festival theme was Time Out : " It is time to discuss what is artistic photography and what is not. To draw a line or to prove that such line cannot exist. The neverending debate is again opened at Photissima aiming at encouraging a dialogue between different realities, crossing the multiplicity of facets photography presents today."
